ChilliDate Site Review 2025. Prices, Features, Profiles

We often think of new dating apps with a certain amount of concern—they have no reputation, they haven’t gained an audience yet, and, well, usually, it’s a “use them solely at your own risk” situation. That’s why we often take some time to monitor such platforms before registering.
But what if that entertaining app is relatively new but already has thousands of members, convenient messaging features, and even a nice bonus?
Read this ChilliDate review to find out. We’ve been testing it for nine days (and still are), so we can explain the complex premium/coin system. We also spoke with 34 female and male users of the app—and now, we’re going to shed some light on it.
Price | Coins cost from $5/5 coins to $300/300 coins Premium subscription costs from $10/month to $20/month |

What is ChilliDate?
ChilliDate is a platform for entertainment—hot connections, adult-only, thousands of single men and women who’re ready to have fun. The app has a decent set of premium and free features, such as a very user-friendly instant messenger, private photos, favorite lists, and Winks.
Overall ChilliDate.com rating
ChilliDate: Pros & cons
- Intuitive, very well-designed mobile version
- “Matches”—a free swiping game where you can like random profiles and start chatting
- Free Winks for every new member (2 winks)
- A “hybrid” subscription-coin system is not that easy to understand
- Not enough premium messaging features yet for a rich experience
Every dating app has its flaws, and ChilliDate isn’t an exception. I, however, can confidently say that ChilliDate has mostly minor flaws, and I’m sure they can be addressed over time.
ChilliDate in 30 seconds
- It’s very easy to get started using the app: simply sign up, upload a photo, and browse the profiles of other users.
- The swiping game adds a touch of playfulness.
- Thousands of open-minded Americans are searching for quick connections.
- Every new member can send 2 Winks for free.
- The app has both a subscription and a coin system, which is not that easy to get used to, especially for beginners.
- And as for the ChilliDate cost, the app looks slightly more expensive than the average similar platform at first sight.
- The app is clearly fresh on the scene, and it shows in all the right ways. It’s easily one of the most polished and user-friendly platforms in its category, with its sleek, modern design and an intuitive interface.
- There is no verification, but we didn’t expect a casual relationship app to have ID verification. That said, the profiles are surprisingly detailed, with plenty of public and private photos, and most bios actually give you something to go on.
Who is ChilliDate for and not for?
- Those looking for an intuitive, fast, and smooth app with thousands of singles
- Those tired of scammers and bots on other dating apps
- Those who just want to have fun and connect with like-minded adults
- Those searching for a 100% free app
- Those who want more than just live chat—right now, ChilliDate isn’t the most advanced dating platform regarding its communication features
- Those who want to chat using their laptop
ChilliDate pricing. How much does it really cost?
We spent more than a week on ChilliDate, and its subscription/coins system is probably the most confusing part of this platform. At first sight, it looked very complex: why would someone need coins if they can buy a premium subscription? Why is the Elite subscription cheaper than the Basic subscription, and what would be the best choice for a newcomer?
So, we spent several hours, contacted the customer support team, and that’s how we answered some of our questions.
Thus, the users need both coins and a premium subscription because with a subscription, they only get from 5 to 15 free messages per month (depending on the subscription type). The Elite one is only cheaper in terms of the monthly cost, and you can’t purchase a 1-month Elite membership; only a 6-month membership is available.
Here’s how it looks:
- There are three subscription options: Basic, Premium, and Elite.
- The cost of the Basic membership is $20/month, and you can only purchase 1 month of this subscription.
- The Premium subscription costs $14/month, but you can only purchase 3 months at once ($42).
- The Elite subscription costs only $10/month, but you can only pay for 6 months at once ($60).
And there’s another difference:
- Basic ($20) users get 5 free messages/month
- Premium users get 10 free messages/month
- Elite users get 15 free messages/month.
But neither 5 nor 15 messages would be enough if you’re going to spend at least a few weeks here like we did—we, for example, ran out of 10 free messages 4 hours after getting the bonus. To send more messages, you need coins, and here’s how much they cost:
- 5 coins cost $5 (first offer special discount)
- 8 coins cost $16
- 11 coins cost $10
- 12 coins $17
- 20 coins $35
- 40 coins cost $60
- 125 coins cost $150
- 300 coins cost $300
These coins can also be used to send Winks (1 coin for 2 winks) or to send messages (1 message costs 1 coin).
And this is exactly where we had a problem with this app. Why did they need 2 systems? Could they simply make premium subscription packs more expensive and add more free messages? Or, why couldn’t they implement all those premium subscription features to credit packages?
Judging by how many people are using paid features—and how often we saw activity—it’s safe to say the system works. So, despite the confusion (that we also felt), the app’s model must be profitable. Still, from a regular user’s perspective, it feels needlessly overcomplicated. A simpler, more transparent model would’ve made way more sense.
Regarding the price, we also need to mention that ChilliDate is certainly not the cheapest app on the market. Men usually send around 5-10 messages per day on dating apps, so it’s $5-10 per day, which means ChilliDate would probably cost you $150-$300 per month.

How does ChilliDate work?
- The app connects singles from the US who are interested in casual relationships
- Registration is free
- It’s also free to browse the profiles
- There are several communication tools
The ChilliDate is very simple. You sign up first, then you click “Show filters” to show filters, and if you click “Message”, you can start typing a message. Sending messages isn’t free, which is very common today, and sending winks is not free, either, though new users get two winks to initiate conversations with. We tested dozens of dating apps that had free winks, so during the test of ChilliDate, we wasted something like 10 coins because of that. Don’t repeat this mistake.
You can also browse profiles and scroll through photos, but not all of them. Private photos are not available until you start chatting with the user. Once you start chatting, private pictures will become available instantly.
As for communication, it’s very simple: there are messages, you can send winks and add the profiles to your favorite list, and you can swipe the profiles (like/skip).

Signing up at ChilliDate
- It’s free to sign up
- Your email and name are required
- No verification

First, you enter your email. Then, your name, date of birth, and password, as well as email confirmation, which is obligatory to join the site. After that, your profile is created; that’s all you have to do.
You have to verify your email address, by the way. It’s also worth noting that you’ll probably need to turn VPN off if you’re using one—we’ve tested that and had several problems during registration because of it.
User interface and design
It’s the underlying philosophy of the app that shapes the design. Most dating apps have a similar philosophy, which is reflected in the functionality, if they’re focused on delivering decent features and experience, of course.
ChilliDate is that kind of app.
Its philosophy is the same—the connection of users, and it shows: the app has big profile pictures, big messaging buttons and icons, a convenient search tool, and the main focus is on messaging and swiping photos. The app is very intuitive, it’s very easy to navigate, and even an inexperienced user shouldn’t have any problems with the interface.
Here’s what I want to say: the ChilliDate app looks quite similar to any other delivering dating app. Big profile pictures, big buttons and icons, convenient search, the main focus is on messaging and swiping photos. The app is very intuitive, it’s very easy to navigate, and even an inexperienced user shouldn’t have any problems with the interface.

Making contact on ChilliDate
- You can send likes and winks
- You can also send messages in instant chat
- No additional interaction, like calls or video sharing, is available yet
It’s all about text messages on ChilliDate. You can attach photos, too. It’s a golden standard of today’s dating industry—the apps that are focused on serious long-distance relationships offer more advanced and expensive communication features, but entertaining apps like ChilliDate are mostly about text.
To send a message, click on the profile, then click “Message”, and type your message. Or, you can choose the opening line right there.
If you click the gift button, you’ll be able to choose a gift for a person, and if you click on three dots, you’ll be able to see chat, block the user, and report the profile.

ChilliDate’s profiles: Customization and special features
- You can edit your profile anytime you want and as many times as you want
- It’s possible to add only basic information about yourself; profiles aren’t that detailed
- Photos must be approved by the team
So, here’s how you edit a profile on the ChilliDate.com dating service: you can choose location, write the “About Me” section, select your body type, status, and interests. It also looks like female users can select their hair color because this search filter is available on ChilliDate, but when we were setting up our male profile, we didn’t see any question about hair color.
How to make your online experience safe and pleasant? These 2 tips will help:
1. Don’t share too much personal info
You can share the field of work you’re involved in, but it’s not recommended to share your company’s name. You can show your face, though showing your real face and using your real name and surname is certainly not a good idea. We analyzed everything about this app, from its registration date to the reputation of the owner, and it’s generally a very decent and reliable app. But neither here nor on any other dating platform should you feel 100% free of scammers. They’re always here, they want your money, and you don’t want to facilitate the process for them.
2. Upload at least 3-5 photos
This is especially true for male users because even 3 photos will help you outshine your competitors, who usually have 0 or 1 picture in their profiles. Sharp, maybe even professional, smiling photos will always work great.

ChilliDate vs WannaHookUp
WannaHookUp | ChilliDate |
---|---|
The cheapest credit package to purchase costs $39.95, so you can’t just spend a few bucks and test its premium tools | The cheapest credit package costs only $4.99 |
Many abandoned profiles | There’s no ID verification, but we haven’t met any obviously fake profiles here during all those tests |
The profiles are often empty, with only 1-2 public and private pictures | Most profiles we saw had at least 3 pictures |
Editor’s conclusion

If I say ChilliDate is the #1 app for casual relationships, this won’t be true. There are bigger sites, there are apps with more features, and there are apps with a much larger dating pool, of course.
But ChilliDate is also great—with very deep profiles, a high reply rate, and thousands of Americans eager to find a partner to have an exciting evening with, it probably could be your #1 option for casual online relationships. If you want to have fun, chat with women and men from the US and other countries, or explore your wild side, ChilliDate is exactly what you need.
